These Terms of Service govern your use of The Architect website, applications, and related services. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms.

If you use The Architect on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, passkeys, and connected sign-in methods.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating or maintaining an account and to keep that information reasonably up to date.

The Architect provides interactive learning tools, simulations, challenges, content, and account features related to software architecture education and practice.

You may use the service only in compliance with applicable law and these terms.

You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape private data, reverse engineer restricted systems, or use the platform to violate the rights of others.

You may not upload unlawful, infringing, malicious, or abusive content, including content intended to disrupt the service or other users.

You retain ownership of content you submit to the service, including architecture diagrams, challenge responses, and related materials, subject to the rights you grant below.

You grant The Architect a non-exclusive license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display your submissions as needed to operate, secure, improve, and provide the service.

The service may rely on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, storage, and integrations, including GitHub, Google, LinkedIn, and Meta platforms where applicable.

Your use of third-party services is also governed by those providers' own terms and privacy policies.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time, including features, integrations, and content.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that all content or scores will remain available indefinitely.

We may suspend or terminate access to the service if we reasonably believe you violated these terms, created security risk, or used the service in a way that could harm us or others.

You may stop using the service at any time.

The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the maximum extent permitted by law.

We do not guarantee that educational content, simulations, scoring, feedback, or other outputs are complete, accurate, or suitable for any particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Architect and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after updated terms are posted means the updated terms apply going forward.
